Medicines Management Limited is a professional medical services company employing Consultant Clinical Pharmacists who completed an excellent cardiovascular review at our practice. Despite having to deal with a large population of 24,000 patients, they were able to offer a flexible, personalised service which adapted to the needs of 10 partners with individual lists. They were able to focus on those patients who would benefit most from face to face reviews and assisted us in achieving our QOF targets and maximising savings on our prescribing budget. Potential problems in prescribing were identified, compliance issues high-lighted and individual changes were made only after patient and doctor consent.
